Reliance Hazira (Carbon Fiber, Plant Gujarat)

Project Profile

India’s first mega carbon fiber manufacturing facility, requiring high-load structural foundations to support high-capacity spinning lines and heavy machinery.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Deep coastal alluvial plains of the Tapi estuary, thick layers of soft marine clay, saturated loose silts, and a shallow, aggressive groundwater table.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Hazira's coastal strata has an exceptionally low bearing capacity. Thick layers of soft marine clay are highly prone to lateral squeezing, which causes borehole diameter shrinkage and trapped drilling tools. Additionally, the continuous movement of heavy crawler cranes across the soft soil created intense ground vibrations, threatening to cause sudden, catastrophic upper-bore caving.

Ecodrilling Advantage

Our polymer matrix formed a resilient, impermeable chemical barrier along the borehole wall, completely neutralizing the lateral squeezing pressure of the marine clay and keeping the bores true to design diameter. ECODRILLING’s advanced viscoelastic properties absorbed the mechanical vibrations from surface machinery. Because no flushing was required, the contractor bypassed high-risk delay phases, lowering rebar cages and pouring concrete immediately.

Tata Semiconductor Fabrication Plant (Dholera SIR, Gujarat)

Project Profile

India’s premier, ultra-precise semiconductor "Fab" facility, demanding the highest structural engineering precision globally to eliminate micro-vibrations for cleanroom lithography equipment.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Low-lying saline alluvial plains of the Gulf of Khambhat, highly expansive regional clays, dense silt layers, and unpredictable water-bearing sand pockets.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Zero tolerance for borehole irregularities. Any structural defect, over-break (bulging), or micro-caving in the pile shafts creates uneven concrete mass distribution, which allows micro-vibrations to travel up into the semiconductor cleanroom. Dholera’s subsoil also features exceptionally high salinity and alkaline levels due to historical tidal inundations, which chemically destroys generic fluids.

Ecodrilling Advantage

ECODRILLING maintained absolute, unyielding hydrostatic control over the entire 360-degree borehole profile. Shaft excavation remained perfectly cylindrical with zero over-break, ensuring the cast-in-situ piles achieved the flawless structural uniformity required for vibration-free industrial isolation. Our proprietary chemistry contains built-in pH and ion buffers, remaining entirely stable against the corrosive chemical attack of the Dholera subsoil.

Samsung Electronics Mega Plant Expansion (Noida, U.P.)

Project Profile

High-capacity electronics manufacturing facility requiring heavy-load foundations for automated assembly lines and cleanroom structures.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Deep, dense Yamuna alluvium sands, stiff over-consolidated clays, and localized pockets of fine silt with shifting groundwater tables.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Foundations had to be executed directly adjacent to existing operational heavy industrial structures without causing any lateral soil movement, shifting, or structural cracking in adjacent facility walls. High clay fractions in localized zones caused extreme risk of bit-balling, which reduces drilling speed and damages corporate site efficiency.

Ecodrilling Advantage:

Poly-Fluid™ provided absolute clay encapsulation, completely preventing clay particles from sticking to the drilling tools, maintaining peak penetration rates. The advanced positive pressure exerted by the polymer column completely stabilized the surrounding soil matrix, ensuring zero lateral movement or settlement for nearby structures, allowing the industrial expansion to proceed with total safety and zero operational downtime.

Mumbai - Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project (MAHSR Bullet Train)

Partnered with NHSRCL for India’s first high-speed rail corridor. Provided specialized drilling fluid systems for bridge pier foundations and viaduct construction. Our advanced polymer technology ensured precise borehole stability in varying geological conditions along the 508 km corridor.

Project Profile

India’s premier flagship high-speed rail corridor requiring flawless foundation settlement tolerances.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Expansive Central India black cotton soils overlying highly weathered basalt, shifting alluvial horizons, and fractured rock transition matrices.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Drilling massive 1800mm and 2000mm diameter boreholes down to an extreme depth of 65 meters. Shifting upper black cotton clay layers threatened to hydration-swell and squeeze the bore diameter, while deep fractured basalt zones caused severe fluid-loss loops. High-speed rail criteria meant traditional bentonite slurry routines faced intense bottlenecks due to mandatory multi-hour cleaning loops to clear heavy sand settlement.

ECODRILLING Advantage:

Our single-additive polymer matrix entirely suppressed clay hydration in the black cotton zone while sealing micro-fractures in the deep basalt layers to eliminate fluid loss. By migrating to ECODRILLING, borehole flushing was 100% eliminated. Sand particles remained encapsulated and separated from the concrete front, allowing instant rebar cage installation and direct pouring—tripling the contractor's monthly piling output.

Delhi - Meerut RRTS Corridor | NCRTC Underground Package-8 (Meerut))

Partnered with NHSRCL for India’s first high-speed rail corridor. Provided specialized drilling fluid systems for bridge pier foundations and viaduct construction. Our advanced polymer technology ensured precise borehole stability in varying geological conditions along the 508 km corridor.

Project Profile

High-capacity Regional Rapid Transit System network connecting the National Capital Region through dense urban zones.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Deep, water-logged Indo-Gangetic alluvial plains dominated by cohesionless fine sands, micaceous silts, and alternating strata of stiff, heavy clay.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Executing deep structural bored piles (Up to 2000mm diameter and depths exceeding 60m) and adjacent heavy retainments in low-cohesion silt. High hydrostatic pressure from an exceptionally shallow water table continuously pushed against the open bore, threatening side-wall sloughing and structural base caving.

ECODRILLING Advantage:

The advanced polymer fluid formed an immediate, continuous, high-tensile viscoelastic membrane along the unstable silt profile, completely balancing groundwater pressures. Poly-Fluid™ held fine silts in stable chemical suspension, ensuring that when concrete was placed, it displaced the fluid cleanly with zero bottom sedimentation. This completely cut out the traditional post-drilling flushing phase, protecting active urban streets from surface settlement.

Mumbai Metro Line 3 Underpass & Station Foundations

Partnered with NHSRCL for India’s first high-speed rail corridor. Provided specialized drilling fluid systems for bridge pier foundations and viaduct construction. Our advanced polymer technology ensured precise borehole stability in varying geological conditions along the 508 km corridor.

Project Profile

Mega-scale underground mass transit network slicing through ultra-congested coastal urban real estate.

Geotechnical Strata Profile

Saturated coastal overburdens, completely fractured and highly permeable tuff/breccia rock layers, under constant marine tidal variations.

Geological & Engineering Challenge

Piling operations were exposed to continuous structural vibrations from dense surface traffic and parallel tunneling. Loose coastal soils threatened to slough into the boreholes, while fractured rock fractures caused severe fluid escape, risking structural collapses near high-rise building basements.

ECODRILLING Advantage:

ECODRILLING's active rheological control adjusted instantaneously to the changing mechanical loads caused by urban vibrations. The formula cross-linked within the loose soil fractions, locking the porous rock fractures shut. Because it requires a significantly smaller equipment footprint than legacy bentonite systems, it saved crucial site space in tight urban lanes while delivering structurally flawless pile shafts.
